Trampe - Usage survey

Usage of the lift in the period from June the 15th to July 15th 1995.

During the period the usage of the lift was counted four hours every day including saturday. The data is based on a total of 110 hour observation. 1128 cyclist who used the lift are included in this count, which is an average of 10 cyclist per hour. June the 6th was the top day with 123 cyclist on four hour, which give an average of 30 cyclist per hour.

The usage of bicycles and the lift is very dependable of the weather. June 15th to June 28th was a period with much bad (wet and cold) weather. From June 29th the weather was good. But when the good weather came, most of the students at the university has left town and many people was on vacation. This explain the low number of users during this period.

Erlier counts shows that during rush hour (14 pm to 17 pm) on good days over 200 cyclist used the lift.
