Cannondale R 1000 - 2002 model
I bought this bike when I discovered a crach in frame on my R 900 bike. I discovered the crach in the old bike only two days before a race (and three weeks before the Great Trial of Strength). So I needed a new bike fast. And I was very lucky. One of the local bike shops got a nice red Cannondale bike on sale (previous years model). I fitted me perfect, so I bought it. All I needed to do was to move the pedals over from the old bike to the new one, and I could participate in the race.
