The future of Velocipede

Version 4.8 has just been released. The progress of improving the program will continue. Feedback from the users are very important in this process. All feedback are welcome. If you have suggestions or questions, please contact me.

Here is a list of some of the features/changes I'm planning to implement in future releases of Velocipede. I cannot guarantee if and when the new features will be ready

Feature Status Version
Extended weekly goals that allow the user to specify required distance or time for individual weeks within the goals date range. Released 4.5
Background coloring for individual rows in short reports (which is based on training entries) in HTML modus. By using rules the user can set criteria for when the background color should be set to a given color. Released 4.5
Custom sort in bike, running, skiing and swimming reports (both short and full reports). The user can specify how the training entries printed to a report shall be sorted. The training entries can be sorted based on one or more criterias, like exercise time, distance, gained altitude etc. Released 4.5
Importing of HRM data from Polar S-710 monitors. Other monitors will also be considered, but it depend on how well the communication and/or layout of downloaded files are documented. Released 4.5
Support for other Polar heart rate monitors: S 725, S 810 and the Xtrainer Plus. Other may also be considered. Released 4.8
Individual metric settings for each sport type and better support for more units (length: km, miles, yards). Planning 5.x
Triathlon as a separate sport. Today the user must add three individual entries for one triathlon event. By defining triathlon as a new sport type, the user can use the bikes, etc already defined in the database for adding a triathlon entry in one operation. Planning 5.x
